A remake of the classic Boulder-dash video game but with a twist. Inspired by the Movie Yellow Submarine from the Beatles, the playfulness and strong style of the characters in the movie were merged together with basic elements of the original Boulder-dash to achieve a fun game understandable even for users who aren’t familiar with the Film. In this version of Boulder-dash the player navigates the levels as a yellow submarine, digging for Gems, escaping form blue Meanies, evading falling stones and trying to find the exit at the end of the rainbow. Depending on the amount of time and gems the player is able to get, the player gains up to three stars for each level. And if it gets lucky, a walrus may pass by.

We tackled the development of this game in groups, each focusing on different Elements of the game. I was responsible with Verena Bacher for the creation of the graphic user interface taking care of design and programming the functionalities it needed.
